Psalms 83:4-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage describes a coalition plotting to erase Israel's memory; in inner terms, it represents a gathering of beliefs attempting to erase your true self from awareness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Verse 4–8 is read as a psychological drama in which the 'nations' are the noisy thoughts and memories opposing your awakened state. Israel stands for the living, awakened Self—the Kingdom of God within your consciousness. The confederation of Edom, Ishmaelites, Moab and others mirrors the recurring voices of fear, lack, doubt, and separation that push against the sense of being already complete. They urge you to forget who you are, to doubt the reality of the I AM. But the I AM remains untouched by their schemes. Selah invites you to pause and watch the inner traffic without surrender. Imagination is the instrument that transforms possibility into fact because you are the creator of your inner world. By identifying with the I AM, you affirm that the true self cannot be erased or forgotten; the name of Israel cannot be removed from consciousness. Stand in the realization that the Kingdom is already yours, secured by your awareness and feeling.
Practice This Now
Assume you are the I AM now; imagine your inner Israel as a throne-room and feel that the conspirators have no power. Repeat, 'I am that I AM,' and let the feeling of the Kingdom within steady your mind.
