Inner Law and Parabolic Hearing
Psalms 78:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It calls you to listen to a living law and incline your ear to the words arising from within. It promises a parable-teaching to pass the praises, strength, and wonders of the Lord to the next generation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Listen, for you are the I AM addressed by the words of your mouth. The law spoken here is not distant instruction but the state you assume now—an inner posture of awareness you incline your ears toward. When the text says I will open my mouth in a parable, it invites your imagination to speak in symbols that reveal inner causes. The 'dark sayings of old' are living memories of states you have already proven true by faith; they have been heard and known inside, and now you become the father who transmits these revelations to your inner child. We will not hide them from our children means you do not conceal these possibilities from the future you, but pass on to the generation within you the praises of the LORD—the recognition of your strength and the wondrous works that you have already done in imagination. So stamp your consciousness with a single truth: the I AM is your present reality, and every image you entertain is a doorway into power. The generation to come you will guide simply by dwelling in that inner fact, here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the law I listen to; I speak as the I AM.' Then revise any sense of lack by feeling this truth already established in your life right now.
