Biblical Context

Psalm 72:15-16 presents a vision of a king who lives in abundance, supported by continual prayer and daily praise. It also describes the earth yielding plentiful fruit and cities flourishing.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the king on the throne is your I AM—your fixed awareness that already holds every desire. The 'gold of Sheba' becomes the riches of your imagined life when you affirm it as present. 'Prayer' is continual inner attention to the state you wish to inhabit; 'praise' is your ongoing emotional agreement with that state. The handful of corn on the mountains and the flourishing grass of the earth are symbols of abundance arising from elevated, unwavering consciousness. When you dwell in that inner state, your outer world follows—your daily life, health, and opportunities manifest as fruit from your inner garden. The verse is a gentle reminder that prosperity blooms where you claim it, not where you chase it; the cause is inside you, and the effect is your lived reality.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and for five minutes inhabit the feeling, 'I am prosperity now.' Revise any sense of lack into presence and let gratitude rise as if the harvest is already yours.
