Psalm 71:15 invites us to treat righteousness and salvation as the steady subject of awareness rather than external events. In Neville's terms, neither righteousness nor salvation is distant fact 'out there' but a state of consciousness you assume. The verse says, 'My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day' because you have forgotten to tally their numbers; you know they run infinite. When you rest in the I AM— that unchanging, ever-present Self—the act of speaking becomes a revelation of what you already are. Your words do not create virtue; they name the always-present virtue within. Proclaiming righteousness is simply acknowledging that your inner world is already aligned with justice, truth, and mercy; proclaiming salvation is confessing you are saved now by the inner law that never sleeps. The world will reflect this adopted state when your feeling is real: you are not praising an external provision but declaring a now-existing harmony.
