Neville's Inner Vision
Consider these verses as a map of your inner state, not a history of external happenings. To 'seek thee' is to turn your full attention to the I AM within, and when you do so, joy and gladness spring up in that awareness. 'Let God be magnified' is your cue to repeat the recognition until it becomes your natural tone of life. The phrase 'But I am poor and needy' is the psalmist’s way of naming a current image; you may translate it as 'I seem to lack,' but you are not bound to lack when you know yourself as the one who seeks, loves salvation, and is already saved by the presence you awaken. Demand immediate response: 'Make haste unto me' becomes an instruction to enter the feeling of answered prayer now, for the I AM is not delayed. Your deliverer is your own consciousness. 'Let God be magnified' is a practice in gratitude and focus; dwell on the sense of deliverance, gratitude, and unfolding salvation. Practically, assume the state of being delivered for a minute, and repeat, 'God is my life; I am saved; help is here.'
Practice This Now
Practice a minute of quiet, assume the feeling of being delivered, and quietly say, 'God is my life; I am saved; help is here,' until the sense of lack dissolves.
