Psalms 68:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 68 in context

Scripture Focus

1Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
2As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
Psalms 68:1-3

Biblical Context

Psalm 68:1-3 speaks of God arising and enemies scattering, the wicked perishing before presence, and the righteous rejoicing. It describes an inner shift where awareness replaces fear.

Neville's Inner Vision

Let God arise is not a distant call but the activation of the I AM within. When awareness rises, the imagined enemies—fear, doubt, lack—scatter before the light of consciousness. As smoke is driven away and wax melts before fire, the old conditions yield to the heat of realized presence. The wicked perish at the presence of God, in this sense, the old beliefs about separation dissolve when I acknowledge that I am the one God in expression. The righteous, those who rest in this truth, become glad and rejoice before God, for they have discovered the living fountain of life within. This is not a victory over others but a lifting of the inner condition from fear to faith, from lack to abundance, from sleep to waking. The battle is internal, yet its fruit is visible: a mind at peace, a heart filled with joyous confidence, a life moving in harmony with the divine I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Assume the state I AM is awake now; feel God arising within; observe the old fears dissolve as you rest in this presence.
