Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God asks for mercy and blessing on us so His face shines upon us. The psalm envisions the earth praising God as His righteous rule extends to all nations.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Neville's frame, Psalm 67 is an inner map. 'God be merciful unto us' becomes the choice to awaken mercy as the state of consciousness I inhabit. 'Bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us' is the imagination that my I AM is a light shining on every aspect of life, making my inner atmosphere radiant. When I hold that light, 'thy way may be known upon earth' is revealed as the way I live—the inner pattern that others notice as outer guidance. 'Saving health among all nations' is the felt health of consciousness—wholeness and peace—that I radiate into relationships, work, and community. I acknowledge that 'let the people praise thee' starts with my own praise, a generous recognition of the divine presence I am. As I dwell in this awareness, the earth yields its increase; circumstances respond to my inner alignment, and the ends of the earth fear not because fear has no home in awareness of God. This is not external conquest but inner realization becoming outward blessing.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, assume you are blessed; feel the I AM shining on you; repeat 'God’s face shines on me' until it feels real and then carry that felt blessing into your day.
