Inner Vision Psalms 64:5-7

Psalms 64:5-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 64 in context

Scripture Focus

5They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
Psalms 64:5-7

Biblical Context

The psalm describes covert plots and secret thoughts; divine awareness exposes them and brings justice.

Neville's Inner Vision

Like a whisper from the I AM, the verse teaches that the 'they' who hide snares are but your own concealed thoughts and fears pretending to act in secret. When you assume the God-state, the inner eye sees past every private plot you have harbored, and the 'arrow' becomes a flash of consciousness that discloses motive and dissolves its power. The inner world is not at the mercy of external plots; you are the creator who can turn those plots into clarity by refusing to feed them with attention. The so-called enemies, whether within or without, reveal themselves as states of consciousness that you have entertained. In truth, the I AM shoots through deception, and sudden recognition wounds the imagined schemes. By dwelling in right discernment—knowing that your awareness sees through each hidden motive—you awaken to a just and truthful life. The result is not punishment from God but the natural consequence of a mind that has ceased to pretend and has embraced honest motive and alignment with truth.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the state 'I am seen by the I AM; my hidden motives are revealed and redirected to truth.' Feel it real now, and watch your inner plots dissolve as you keep this awareness.
