Biblical Context
Psalm 6:3 presents a soul in distress asking how long. The passage invites recognizing distress as a state of consciousness and turning inward for revision.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the words 'how long' are not a request for chronological mercy but a reveal of your internal resistance. The I AM within you does not measure time by minutes, but by alignment. Your soul's sore vexation is the sunken mood of a former state clinging to lack; you are not banished from God, you have forgotten the name of your own I AM. When you accept that the kingdom of heaven is within and that you are the one imagining your own reality, the vexation loosens. The call 'how long' becomes a turning of attention from the problem to the solution, from negative belief to the truth of fullness already present. Begin by assuming the state you desire as present. Do not plead with God as outside you; greet the inner presence with gratitude, feel the relief as if it were now. Imagination creates reality; dwell in the end you seek until it saturates your senses, until your "how long?" softens into a quiet, "It is done."
Practice This Now
Assume the state you desire as present: say, 'I am at peace now,' and feel the relief as real within your chest; carry that feeling with you through the day.
