Judgment of Deceit, Inner Truth
Psalms 5:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse declares that deceitful speech and the violent man are opposed by the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Ask yourself: where in your present consciousness do you harbor deceit—little white lies you tell yourself, or a readiness to blame others? The verse does not threaten a distant deity as much as remind you that your own inner I AM abhors the blood-stained image of deceit. 'Destroy them that speak leasing' is not a curse on others but a call to purge from your inner theater the scripts of lying, manipulation, fear, and resentment. When you imagine yourself as the I AM, you align with a state that cannot coexist with deceit; you expose and dissolve the false pictures by turning your attention to truth, integrity, and righteous living. The 'LORD' is your own higher awareness; when you awaken to truth, the old, violent, deceitful character dissolves, and you become the observer who refuses to identify with deceitful thoughts. Your life then becomes a practice of purification—each thought, word, and motive examined in light of purity and accountability.
Practice This Now
In a quiet moment, assume the I AM as your present reality. Revise a lingering deceitful thought into truth and feel that truth as real by repeating it until you glow with it.
