2For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
Psalms 47:2

Biblical Context

Psalm 47:2 proclaims that the LORD Most High is awe-inspiring and a great King over all the earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the verse invites you to realize the LORD Most High as the I AM within you, not a distant ruler. The awe-filled authority described as terrible is the presence of a God-like awareness that stands above every thought and circumstance. When you recognize that this Most High reigns over all the earth of your experience, you liberate every scene from fear and limitation. Your world is a mirror of your inner state; therefore, the great King over all the earth is the king you decide to inhabit. If a situation seems broken or uncertain, revise it by assuming the state of kingship: see yourself as the one who speaks, and that speech becomes form. Do not chase power outside; cultivate the feeling that the I AM is supreme in your life, and let that inner decree settle every outer movement. In this alignment, you are not a victim of events but the sovereign creator, and reality obeys the settled impression of your consciousness.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit quietly, declare I am the Lord Most High, the King over this earth, and feel the power of that state as if it already were. Then revise a current scene by imagining the outcome as settled in your consciousness.
