The Inner Eye Knows
Psalms 44:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse states that God, the I AM, searches the heart and knows its hidden motives. Nothing within can be concealed from divine awareness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. In Neville's view, the 'God' being spoken of is the I AM, your ever-present awareness. The verse speaks of a divine gaze that discerns inward motives, reminding you that the inner state is never out of reach of consciousness. The outer world is a faithful mirror of the inner life; you cannot perform morally while remaining unconscious of your motive. When you rise in the morning with a hidden agenda, you will awaken to the tension of that hidden motive in your day. To work with this, do not resist the revelation but use it as invitation: assume a different state right where you are. Decide that your motive now is pure, honest, and aligned with truth; revise any thought or intention that contradicts that state. Feel it real: the I AM knows and approves your inward change, and your surroundings will respond as evidence of that inward alignment. The heart’s secrets are not threats but opportunities to awaken to a higher consistency of being.
Practice This Now
Assume the state that the I AM already knows your motives; revise any hidden aim until it feels pure. Feel it real that your inner intent is known and approved.
