Favoured By Divine Presence
Psalms 41:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God favors the speaker because the enemy does not prevail over him. He is upheld in integrity and kept forever before God's face.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the terms are states of consciousness. The 'enemy' is fear, doubt, or lack trying to triumph in your world. The claim 'thou favourest me' is your recognition that the I AM approves of your present state. When you accept that your attacker cannot triumph, you release the imagined outer conflict and awaken to the fact that your inner sense of being favored is the truth of your being. 'Upholdest me in mine integrity' means your inner standard, the righteousness of your state, is sustained by the divine Presence; you are not broken by appearances but anchored in perfect continuity. 'Settest me before thy face for ever' signifies that you live under the gaze of God—your awareness is forever present, forever intact, never hidden from the I AM. As you dwell in this assumption, the world begins to reflect it. The doubts fade, the circumstances rearrange to honor your inner claim, and you walk in the certainty that you are seen, protected, and carried by the timeless I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, and assume the feeling of being divinely upheld; repeat 'I am favored by the I AM, I am upheld in my integrity' until it feels real; then observe the shift.
