Read Psalms 35 in context

Scripture Focus

11False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
Psalms 35:11

Biblical Context

False witnesses rose up and charged me with things I did not know. The verse highlights the injustice of slander and misrepresentation.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner theater, the 'false witnesses' are not people in the street but currents of thought that accuse you within your own mind. They arise when fear, doubt, or insecurity takes the stage of awareness, presenting charges that your present self refuses to recognize as true. The true you, however, is the I AM, the steadfast awareness that creates reality. To heal the scene, do not argue with the outer accusers; instead, assume that the truth of your being already stands vindicated. Speak to the inner judge with quiet authority: 'I am innocent of these charges; I am the living proof of righteousness.' Then, visualize a courtroom in your mind where the witnesses fade away, leaving a clear verdict of peace and right perception. Remember: imagination is the instrument by which reality is formed, so dwell in the feeling of your true nature right now, and let the external scene harmonize with that inner truth. By revising the charge within, you dissolve it without.

Practice This Now

Practice: close your eyes, assume the I AM as your definite state, and revise the scene by declaring, 'I am innocent of all false charges' while picturing the accusers dissolving into light.
