Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The call is to shift your inner state toward harmony and righteous action, which then shapes your life outwardly.
Neville's Inner Vision
Depart from evil is a turning of attention away from fear and limitation, a renunciation of the inner story that harms you or others. To do good is to imagine and enact acts of beneficence, aligning your inner scene with the reality you wish to see. Seek peace is an invitation to enter a state of veto-less inner quiet, the recognition that the I AM—your consciousness—is inherently tranquil. Pursue it by living from the felt truth of that peace, rehearsing the inner scene until it saturates your senses and becomes your default mode. When you assume this inner alignment, your external circumstances begin to reflect the order of your inner state. This Psalm teaches holiness not as distant ritual but as separation from the false claims and distractions of fear, returning you to unity with the one consciousness you are. You are the cause; your world is the effect; peace is the result of imagining from the I AM and letting that reality dawn as your life.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of your peaceful self now: silently declare 'I AM at peace' and imagine a situation in which you do good, seeing harmony unfold and the good you intend becoming actual in your surroundings.
