Biblical Context
Psalm 31:4-8 describes being pulled out of a hidden net, committing the spirit into God's care, and trusting in His mercy; it ends with feet set in a large, open space rather than confinement.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice how the net is not fabric but a story you have accepted about yourself. It is a belief that binds your energy until you awaken. 'Thou art my strength' is the declaration of the I AM within you—the eternal self that cannot be trapped by appearances. When you say 'Into thine hand I commit my spirit,' you are not surrendering to a distant God, but consenting to the inner reality that you are already that power. Redeemed is simply the correction of your inner picture—replacing fear with truth until lies lose their grip. 'I have hated them that regard lying vanities' becomes the refusal of counterfeit images and the choosing of truth as your norm. Trust in the LORD means trust in your own I AM, the only true governor of your life. Mercy is the sustaining atmosphere that responds to steady inner faith, lifting you from trouble into a larger space. You are not shut up by the enemy; you are set in a large room—an expansive consciousness where every limitation dissolves as you dwell there in awareness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the I AM lifting you out of the net; feel your feet planted in a spacious room and dwell in that reality, repeating, 'I am free in consciousness now.'
