Biblical Context
Verse 22:29-30 speaks of outward plenty and humble submission bowing before the divine. It also proclaims a lasting seed that serves the Lord for a generation.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this psalm, the 'fat upon earth' and those who 'go down to the dust' symbolize the outward senses of abundance and the humbling of ego before the I AM that you truly are. When you identify with the I AM—the eternal consciousness within—those outward images bow in reverence to the divine reality you have embraced. 'None can keep alive his own soul' exposes the illusion that life depends on external conditions; true life arises as you consent to the higher self that gives life, breath, and form. The line 'A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation' points to a new line of consciousness birthed in you: a seed of faithful awareness that, once planted, becomes the generational expression of worship. In Neville’s terms, all worship is a movement of consciousness: the moment you feel 'I am the Lord,' your inner kingdom expands and the outer world rearranges to reflect that kingly identity. Practice this by assuming the feeling of the I AM, and revise any sense of separation until service becomes natural and enduring.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the identity 'I am the seed that serves the Lord' as your present reality; feel the I AM planting, growing, and blessing through you now. Let the sense of generational worship become natural and enduring.
