Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that in this psalm the enemies are not external foes but the inner states that threaten your peace and your sense of being. Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies becomes your awareness that every fear, doubt, or habit that hates your true I AM presence is exposed to the light of consciousness. The fiery oven of anger is the purifying heat you welcome into your inner room, dissolving old stories and reactive thoughts. When they imagined a mischievous device, you recognize that imagination is the instrument through which you entertain and dissolve what is not true of you. The arrows upon thy strings are the challenging vibrations of circumstance that test your faith; you hold the bow of attention steady and let your inner vision return to your throne of power. Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power. This becomes your daily reality: you are the I AM, exalting in its own strength, and the world responds as you stand in the light you are.
Practice This Now
Assume right now that you are the I AM aware and all-powerful. Revise any fear as a judgment dissolved by your inner light, and feel the sense of protection and exultation rising from within.
