Inner Victory Psalm 18

Psalms 18:41-42 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 18 in context

Scripture Focus

41They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
42Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
Psalms 18:41-42

Biblical Context

The psalm shows cries for help that go unanswered. The speaker then defeats the enemies and scatters them like dust.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner cry for aid meets a silent God because you have believed you are powerless. In Neville's map, the 'Lord' who does not answer is the old self you imagine as separate from your awareness. Yet the I AM within you remains awake, and by assuming a new state of consciousness you render the cry powerless and set up the victory you seek. When you claim the state, you do not demand an outer miracle; you reverse the reality by believing that the power that answers in you is ever-present, that the 'dust' before the wind is but the old thought-form dissolving in the light of your inward I AM. The enemy’s silence becomes a sign to revise, not a cause to despair. As you persist in this inner turn, you return to the kingdom, not by outward exile but by an inward return of awareness to its rightful throne. You are the judge who speaks justice because you embody it, and prophecy becomes your daily experience as you dwell in the consciousness that creates.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise: I am the I AM, the power that answers; this issue is already resolved in my consciousness. Feel it real as you imagine the obstacles dissolving like dust before the wind.
