The I Am Sees All

Psalms 14:2-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 14 in context

Scripture Focus

2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
Psalms 14:2-4

Biblical Context

God looks from heaven to find minds that understand and seek God. The record shows all have turned aside; none do good, and the workers of iniquity call not on the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

To read this psalm from the I AM viewpoint is to realize the 'LORD' is your own awareness. The 'looked down from heaven' signals a turning of attention within, to see if your present state understands and seeks God. When you notice 'they are all gone aside' and 'none doeth good,' you are witnessing inner patterns—habitual judgments, fears, and separations—that have crept into your consciousness. The overpowering 'workers of iniquity' who eat up My people describe the mind that consumes itself through selfish thoughts and refuses to call upon the Lord. But this is not condemnation; it is a map showing where your attention has wandered. The cure is simple: assume the truth that you do understand and you do seek God now. Feel the I AM operating as your awareness, calling upon the Lord in this moment and in every moment. When you inhabit that assumption, the sense of separation dissolves and actions align with love. The psalm becomes an invitation: awaken your inner sight, and the outer scenes will reflect the revived consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe slowly, and assume the feeling: I understand and I seek God now. Dwell there for a few minutes, envisioning the I AM shining as your awareness, and silently calling upon the Lord in every moment.
