Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God sees the speaker's substance before outward form, hidden in secret, with every member already written in a divine book. The verses reveal a foreknowledge that is present within the inner life.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your substance is not outside you but the living I AM you already are in consciousness. The verse describes foreknowledge as the intimate script your awareness writes before any form appears. What appears in the body and world is simply the continuation of an inner draft that your attention keeps revising until it aligns with itself. The 'secret' and the 'lowest parts of the earth' are not places to fear but doors to interior discipline, through which imagination forms reality. When you accept that the eyes of God are the eyes of your own I AM, you perceive your life as already finished in the book of your mind. All members are written there and fashioned in continuance as you dwell in the end—in other words, you live from the completed state you choose in imagination. This is Providence and Presence working as your inner disposition: you align with the assumption that you are already complete, and the outer world follows the steady action of consciousness. Therefore, the birth you seek is the awakening to your own inner author and the realization that form follows feeling-realized awareness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and affirm: I am the substance written in the book of my mind. Revise any sense of lack and feel it real as the form already complete.
