Biblical Context
The passage portrays the I AM answering the cry and strengthening the soul, promising revival and protection amid trouble.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider that the cry is not to an external deity but to your own I AM, the awareness that you are. When you cried, the inner I AM answered, imparting strength into your soul. The line about kings and their praise becomes your own inner chorus: when the words of your mouth are aligned with the truth of Being, the world begins to acknowledge the song you have already composed within. Great is the glory of the Lord, i.e., the glory of your divine nature, which shines most clearly through humility. The Lord is high, yet regards the lowly; this is not a judgment of others but the posture of your mind: to see yourself as humble, receptive, and teachable; the proud mind stays distant from the action, while the meek remain open to the movement of God within. Even in the midst of trouble you are revived by your own assumed power; your right hand, the active, decisive imagination, stays at work saving you from fear, anger, or despair. Your challenge becomes the invitation to dwell in the feeling of answered prayer until the outer scene merely reflects your inner decree.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM has already answered you now; dwell in that feeling of being strengthened, and revise any lack until you feel it as real.
