Biblical Context

It states that brethren dwelling together in unity is good and pleasant. Unity here is a state of harmonious togetherness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through the I AM, the verse describes a state of consciousness you can enter now. The 'brethren' are the many aspects of your own life—desires, memories, judgments—when they move in accord, you dwell in one mind. To gift this to yourself as real, align your inner currents by assuming unity and feeling it as your immediate atmosphere. The same I AM that loves one part of you loves all; through revision you erase separation and invite cooperative harmony with others. Picture a circle of brethren around you and center yourself in the I AM, embracing each as an expression of the same life. Persist in that feeling and unity becomes your natural expression; external conflicts soften and your world reflects the peace you have already imagined.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine a circle of brethren around you, and say silently, 'I am one with all; we dwell together in unity.' Hold that feeling until it feels real in your chest.
