Biblical Context

God has chosen Zion to be His habitation. It points to a sacred inner space prepared for God's presence.

Neville's Inner Vision

Zion is not a geographical city you visit but a state of awareness you cultivate. When the text says the LORD hath chosen Zion and desires it for his habitation, it speaks to your I AM choosing a temple within, a sacred center your attention can inhabit. God’s dwelling is not out there in a distant city; it is right where you attend to the present moment. If you fear you are unworthy, you distort the invitation; by choosing to revise that thought you invite the divine presence to reside in your mind as the current atmosphere. Cultivate a feeling-tone of reverent expectancy: imagine a warm light at the center of your chest or between the brows and declare that light is the habitation of the I AM. Each conscious turn of attention reinforces the truth: you are chosen, you are desired, and God’s presence is the motion of your inner life. The practice is simple but profound: tend this temple until your whole life reflects its sacredness.

Practice This Now

Assume you are Zion, the chosen dwelling of the Lord. Feel the I AM inhabiting your inner temple now.
