Inner Thanksgiving Psalm 13:6

Psalms 13:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 13 in context

Scripture Focus

6I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Psalms 13:6

Biblical Context

The verse states a deliberate choice to sing to the LORD because of divine bounty shown to the speaker.

Neville's Inner Vision

I read Psalm 13:6 as the inner declaration of the self that knows its worth and the Lord within as source. In Neville terms the LORD is the I AM, the living awareness that supplies my life. To deal bountifully is to acknowledge that all seeming lack is movement within consciousness, not an outer fact. The psalmist s singing is the natural outward effect of inner recognition; worship becomes an act of settled assumption rather than ritual. When I make a habit of feeling already supplied, seeing my world through the eye that says I am blessed, the outer becomes a reflection of that inner state. Gratitude is not a response to change in circumstances but the very state that creates circumstances. The grace and mercy mentioned are the steady currents of favor that follow inner trust that I am and I am with you. The act of singing is the audible sign of inner alignment: you are reorienting your identity to the reality you desire, and the world follows.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit quietly and assume you are already blessed. Feel the fullness as a present fact and imagine yourself singing in gratitude, then listen for outward signs of grace.
