Inner Peace Within Your Walls
Psalms 122:7-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm declares that peace and prosperity reside within the inner walls of the person and within the acts of the community, and the speaker vows to nurture that peace for others because of the Lord's house.
Neville's Inner Vision
I awaken to the truth that peace and prosperity are states of awareness, not conditions of place. The walls and palaces are inner dispositions: a mind surrendered to the I AM, where every thought becomes a doorway to calm and plenty. When I say Peace within thee I am naming the shared consciousness we all live in; my brotherhood becomes a mirror of my own inner state. The house of the LORD our God is the temple within, the point of unwavering devotion where I seek the good for all—especially those I love—because I am in covenant with the divine presence. Thus prosperity flows not from external walls but from a constant assumption that good now constitutes my inner atmosphere. I do not seek prosperity as a prize to possess, but as the natural ambiance of the I AM I live in. By tending my inner temple, I invite a harmony that radiates into relationships and community.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling of peace already within you. Revise any sense of lack by declaring, 'Peace now within me,' and dwell in the I AM until it feels real.
