Within Psalm 122, the walls and palaces are not outer fortifications but inner dispositions of awareness. Peace within them is a steady state of mind, a shift in consciousness you cultivate until it feels real. The verses say, for my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee—meaning you speak peace into your own being for the sake of your inner company. In Neville's language, you are the I AM that imagines; your city’s walls are the boundaries of attention you refuse to allow fear to cross. Prosperity within thy palaces denotes the abundant life that flows from a well-ordered inner state: clear desires, aligned feelings, and the assumption that your needs are already met in your own awareness. When you dwell in that posture, you address others from the stillness within, and their peace becomes your own. Practice the shift: imagine the gates of your mind opening to receive; dwell in the feeling that peace is within you now, and prosperity follows as the natural fruit of that self-imposed serenity.
