Psalms 113:6-7

Biblical Context

The psalm says that those who humble themselves to behold what is heavenly and earthly are exalted; the poor are raised from dust.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 113:6-7 speaks, in Neville’s inner-vision, as humility of heart turning your attention to the realities inside. When you humbly behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth, you quiet the chattering ego and awaken to the I AM that already governs both realms. The 'poor' and the 'needy' are not external conditions but conditions of consciousness—dusty beliefs of lack from which you must revise. As you maintain this inner posture, the dust loosens and your awareness rises; the I AM lifts that state, not by changing outer circumstance but by reviving inner sight. Your mind ascends from the dunghill of fear to the throne of perception where divine provision and guidance flow freely. The practice is simple: dwell as the awareness that never lacks, and let the felt reality of being the All rearrange what you take as real. The kingdom you seek is within, already given, awaiting your inner recognition.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit in stillness, assume the I AM as your immediate state and revise 'I am poor' into 'I am lifted.' Feel the lift now and rest in the authoritativeness of that inner recognition.
