Psalms 113:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 113 in context

Scripture Focus

3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
Psalms 113:3

Biblical Context

The verse declares that the LORD's name should be praised from morning till night.

Neville's Inner Vision

From Neville's angle, the verse is an invitation to dwell in the I AM, where praise arises as the natural tone of consciousness. The rising sun and the setting sun are not the sun itself but the cycles of attention in which you choose to keep the sense of God present. 'The LORD's name' is the awareness you carry—the identity you affirm—so praising it is simply keeping your awareness aligned with the divine I AM throughout the day. When you treat praise as an inner state rather than a ritual worn on the lips alone, every moment becomes a chance to witness creation forming in response to your consciousness. The inner practice is to regard the day as a continuous hymn: rise, breathe, move, and still say, I AM with you; praise is the atmosphere in which events harmonize. Thus, the verse teaches truth & faithfulness: God is present wherever you are, and your consistent awareness is the key that opens the kingdom within.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of constant praise now: close eyes for a moment and declare, I AM praise as your fixed reality; through the day, revise any scene by declaring that the LORD's name is on your lips and feel that inner praise shaping your experience.
