The phrase 'a good understanding' belongs to those who practice the inner commandments—the steady obedience to the truth you already know: quiet your mind, listen to the still voice, and act from love. When you keep faith with your inner revelation, praise endures because the living Presence you acknowledge becomes the living reality of your days. The law, then, is psychological: habituate yourself to the I AM as ruler of your life, and wisdom naturally follows as your ordinary state of consciousness.
