Inner Speech, Inner Truth

Psalms 10:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 10 in context

Scripture Focus

7His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
Psalms 10:7

Biblical Context

Psalm 10:7 depicts a voice whose outward words reveal an inner habit of cursing, deceit, and vanity. Hidden beneath the tongue is mischief.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your Psalm is not about a man outside you but about a state of consciousness you are entertaining as real. The mouth filled with curses, deceit, and fraud is the surface of a deep inner conviction where the I AM has not yet asserted its sovereignty. Under the tongue, mischief and vanity reveal a hidden motive to manipulate or triumph through clever words rather than speak the truth. All speech is a projection of your inner world; to alter it you must alter the state from which you speak. Begin by assuming a higher I AM is the ruler of your house, that purity and integrity are your natural expression. Speak inwardly to yourself as the one who forgives, tells the truth in love, and holds himself accountable for every word. Revise any old narrative that justifies deceit or vanity and replace it with a durable truth: I am the I AM; my words are honest; my life speaks the law of truth through me. When you feel the shift, your outward speech follows, and judgment becomes accountable love rather than condemnation.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of pure speech now by declaring I AM the truth speaking through me; feel the integrity in your breath and imagine your words flowing as light.
