Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God rises for the humble; He sees mischief, defends the poor and fatherless, and judges the wicked. The LORD is King forever, and the humble are heard, while oppression ends.
Neville's Inner Vision
When you read Psalm 10:12–18 as Neville would, you see the scene not as distant history but as your inner state. Arise, O LORD; lift up thine hand, forget not the humble, becomes: the I AM arises in you and raises your situation by the power of awareness. The 'LORD' is the one presence you call upon—the awareness that you are, and always have been, in control. The 'humble' is the stable, childlike trust in this I AM, not a poor submission but a confident resting in divine order. The wicked who 'contemn God' mirror thoughts of fear and resistance that would deny your power; yet you behold mischief and trust the hand that moves in your life, for the poor and fatherless stand as symbols of neglected parts of yourself now welcomed by the I AM. Break thou the arm of the wicked shifts the drama from struggle to decree: you speak and the fear dissolves. The LORD is King forever—this is your unchanging state of consciousness. When you hold the humble heart and listen to the quiet ear, oppression vanishes and the earth-man's tyranny loses its grip.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare: I AM arises now; I forget not the humble state of mind. Then revise a current problem by affirming, 'The I AM breaks the power of fear; divine justice flows through my life.' Feel it real.
