Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The text declares that the LORD, by wisdom, founded the earth and heavens. Keeping wisdom and discretion before your eyes leads to life, safety, and peaceful rest.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this proclamation, creation is not distant; it is the structure of your inner state. The LORD is the I AM you awaken to now, and wisdom and understanding are the tools by which your consciousness shapes form. To say ‘by his knowledge the depths are broken up’ is to name the mental act by which you unsettle seeming depths and cause dew to fall into your daily life. When you keep sound wisdom and discretion before your inner sight, you are not awaiting a future arrival; you are aligning your entire being with a stable order. They become life to your soul and grace to your neck—signs that your posture and movement are charged with grace. Then you walk in safety, your foot unchanged by fear, and sleep comes as sweet rest, because you have accepted the presence of the LORD as your constant center. Do not fear the sudden fear or the wicked's desolation; the LORD is your confidence, keeping your steps from being taken. Your external world will reflect this inner order once you persist in the awareness of the I AM guiding every moment.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare: I am led by divine wisdom; I rest in the I AM. Then imagine the earth and heavens as the inner landscape you have already established, and feel the steady safety of that reality as you fall asleep.
