Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the inner life as a realm governed by your I AM. When the righteous state presides, the inner people—your thoughts, feelings, and circumstances—rejoice; when the contrary state rules, you mourn in your own weather. The line that the king by judgment establishes the land becomes a law of inner order: your decisions shape the landscape of experience. Flattery and nets of distraction belong to the lesser self; they entangle you in appearances and divert you from true governance. The transgression of an evil mind is a snare, yet the righteous know they are the I AM, eternal and unaltered, and thus can sing and rejoice. Attend to the neglected needs within you—the poor aspects of your life—and you restore balance to your inner republic. The outer world mirrors your inner state: if your awareness rules with justice, harmony follows; if not, sorrow arises. Remember: God within is the governor, and your present moment can be governed by that eternal order. Your inner authority is sufficient to transform every scene of your life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, and assume the feeling that the righteous I AM governs your inner land; revise any sense of lack by affirming that the I AM is ruler here, and feel the order and joy as real.
