Vision and Law Within

Proverbs 29:18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 29 in context

Scripture Focus

18Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Proverbs 29:18

Biblical Context

Without a clear inner vision, the people perish. Those who keep the inner law find happiness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your consciousness, vision is the fixed image you continually permit to govern your sense of life. The law is the quiet order by which that image is made real, the discipline by which the I AM of your being aligns with its assumed state. If you permit no vision—if you let your attention drift—conscious life fragments and your world perishes. But when you keep the law—consistently returning to the I AM, refusing doubts, and returning to the one image you choose—you discover happiness blooming as a natural fruit. Vision is not a forecast outside you; it is an inner orientation, a state of consciousness you dwell in. When you imagine yourself already in possession of what you want and align your thoughts, words, and actions with that image, you empower the subconscious to vibrate in harmony with it. The external world then mirrors your inner unity: vision sustained, law kept, order established, and joy emerging as the sensible proof that God, your awareness, has assumed and therefore created your life.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the fulfilled state as already real. Revise every doubt until it dissolves, and feel the image prospering in your heart now.
