Biblical Context
Proverbs 25:6-7 urges humility before authority, advising that true honor comes from a favorable call to ascend rather than forced self-promotion. It points to the inner discernment of when to speak and when to wait for the inner invitation.
Neville's Inner Vision
In your inner theatre, the king upon his throne is the outer world of appearances, while the I AM within is the true ruler. Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king becomes a reminder that you do not burst forth from lack but from recognition of your inner status. When you desire to 'come up hither,' you are not asking others to raise you above them, but you are calling your own consciousness to rise to a higher function within the inner kingdom. The better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither, signals alignment with the timing of your inner invitation. If you push to be seen, you contract limitation; if you wait and refine, you prepare the inner ground for legitimate ascent. The prince you have observed is your own image of external authority; your true ascent occurs as you realize you already stand at the throne of I AM awareness, and the inner invitation precedes outward validation. Therefore, cultivate humility as a dynamic state of consciousness, not as a social posture, and watch as reality accommodates your lifted self-image.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the state of being publicly invited to ascend—'I am already recognized by the I AM.' Then revise any urge to self-promote by mentally hearing, 'Come up hither,' and feel the exaltation as real in your chest.
