31The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
Proverbs 21:30-31

Biblical Context

There is no wisdom, understanding, or counsel that can prevail against the LORD; outward weapons and plans do not guarantee safety, for true security rests with God within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Do not imagine that the battles of life are fought by outward power alone. The verse tells you there is no wisdom or counsel that can stand against the LORD, for the LORD is the I AM in which all thought is formed. Your mind is where every plan is weighed, and when you identify your state with the I AM, you dissolve the illusion that danger can press in from without. The horse, the army, the day of battle are only symbols of external preparation; real safety flows from inner alignment with divine intelligence. If you hold any fear, you have momentarily forgotten that the I AM governs every event. Return to the truth that safety is of the LORD, and let your awareness act as a shield. In this state, all counsel that would threaten stability arises within thought, and is quickly dissolved by the remembered presence of God within you. Practice awakening this awareness now, and watch conditions respond to your inner conviction rather than to external appearances.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the fact 'There is safety in the LORD' as your present reality. Revise fear by repeating 'The I AM protects me now' until you feel it real.
