Read Proverbs 20 in context

Scripture Focus

8A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
Proverbs 20:8

Biblical Context

The verse depicts a king seated on the throne of judgment who emits power to scatter evil through his discerning gaze. It suggests that clear, righteous perception can dissolve negativity within the realm of consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Seeing the king on the throne of judgment is to see your I AM crowned in consciousness. The throne is your attention; the eyes are the focus of belief. Evil is not out there to be fought, but a state of lack or fear held within. When the king sits in unwavering certainty and judges from the end, those fearful beliefs scatter. The discernment becomes the creative act: dwell in the state you desire, see it as already fulfilled, and refuse to entertain contrary scenes. Assume you are already the ruler who has what you seek; feel the reality of it now, and let that feeling push out old images. In this reading, the kingdom of God is the inward realm of awareness you inhabit when you refuse to give reality to evil and instead command its dispersion with the gaze of consciousness. The outer world will follow as the inner vision aligns with the end. Practice this gaze daily: declare the end, align your feeling with it, and watch the scene conform.

Practice This Now

Sit on your inner throne and fix your gaze on the end you desire; feel it as already real. Declare I AM the ruler of this kingdom, and let my discerning sight scatter any evil.
