11The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
Proverbs 18:10-11

Biblical Context

The verse contrasts inner safety in God-consciousness with the external security of wealth.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville, the 'name of the LORD' is the state of awareness you inhabit now—the I AM made conscious. When fear arises, the 'righteous' do not beg for conditions to change; they enter the tower by an act of imagination. Assume you are already safely within God's presence; feel the shelter of that awareness surround you. The tower is not bricks but your unwavering attention to the truth of who you are: consciousness expressing as you. Wealth, symbolized by a fortified city, is the ego's attempt to secure itself by external measures. It cannot sanctify or protect against the movement of life, for it rests on conceit. Your true security is the inner alignment that you can return to in any moment. By dwelling in the I AM, you 'run into' the tower and remain safe, regardless of outward signs. The apparent fortress of money is a reminder to choose the inner citadel instead. The moment you revise your image to the fact of God in you, you become the impenetrable city that no circumstance can shake.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: 'I am safe in the LORD's name,' then imagine stepping into a tower of light where all fear dissolves and you rest in divine presence.
