Scripture Focus

28Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Proverbs 1:28

Biblical Context

Proverbs 1:28 shows that when we ignore the inner call to wisdom, the I AM withdraws. Those who seek guidance early will not find it if they have not aligned their consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

View this verse as a law of consciousness rather than a threat. The call to wisdom is the I AM moving in your awareness; when you resist that movement, you simply shift into a state where answers stay distant. The I AM is not outside you but within; to hear it you must quiet the voice of lack and imagine the wisdom as already yours. The 'early' moment is the present decision to assume a wiser state. The more you dwell in that assumed state, the more the outer world echoes it. This verse becomes a gentle instruction: awaken to the inner I AM now, and the apparent refusal of wisdom dissolves as your consciousness aligns with its reality.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare: I am the I AM; I now call upon the wisdom within me and accept its answer as mine. Feel the certainty of that inner response as if it is already true.
