Philippians 1:6

Biblical Context

Paul declares that God has begun a good work in you. He will complete it by the day of Jesus Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the verse, the good work is not an external project but a state of consciousness already started within you. The 'He' who began it is the I AM that you are in awareness. The day of Jesus Christ is the dawning when your inner sight recognizes your divine nature; until then, the work proceeds as the inevitable unfoldment of your consciousness. Trust is not mere belief but the recognition that your present feeling and assumption align with the completed pattern. Perseverance and guidance come as your attention returns to your inner self, where Providence operates as law, not luck. When you 'be confident,' you are choosing to inhabit the finished pattern already, and the outward events will adjust to reflect that inner certainty. The apparent delays are the mind's invitation to revise any sense of distance between what is promised and what is felt. Your task is to dwell in the end, feel the reality of the completed work now, and let action follow from that inner truth.

Practice This Now

Assume the end: you are already the person God began to make you. Feel that completed work now, revise any sense of limitation, and imagine your days unfolding in accord with the inner pattern.
