Read Philippians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

20According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:20-21

Biblical Context

Paul expresses earnest expectation that Christ be magnified in his body whether by life or by death; for him to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner realm your earnest expectation is not waiting for a future event but the habit of the I AM assuming that Christ is already magnified within your body. When you face life or the prospect of death, you are not petitioning an outside God but recognizing the inner Christ as the governing principle of every cell and nerve. To live is Christ means your daily being is the expression of that divine nature, moving through thoughts, words, and actions as its instrument. To die is gain because the old sense of self yields to a higher identification with God within, and nothing truly dies but a mistaken image. The boldness Paul speaks of is a calm, assured presence that nothing can threaten the consciousness that Christ is magnified here now. Your faith is not a wish but a practiced awareness that the I AM is the source of all life, and as you dwell in that truth, your body and circumstances align with it, revealing the reality you have chosen.

Practice This Now

Close eyes and declare I AM is Christ magnified in my body now, breathing the truth until it feels solid. Then revise any fear or limitation by affirming that to me to live is Christ and to die is gain, letting that conviction become my immediate experience.
