Philippians 1:19-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Philippians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

19For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
20According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:19-21

Biblical Context

Paul expresses confidence that his salvation is shaped by the prayers of others and the Spirit's supply. He seeks to be unashamed and to magnify Christ in his life or death.

Neville's Inner Vision

Paul's words map the inner man: salvation is a present state of consciousness and not an external event. The 'this' turning to my salvation is the moment I align with the I AM and let Christ be magnified through my body, regardless of circumstance. The prayers of others become the atmosphere of my inner world, and the supply of the Spirit flows as my awareness of divine energy in action. My earnest expectation and hope are the unwavering conviction that I am living from Christ within, so I am unashamed and bold. To live is to let Christ live in me; to die is to let the old self dissolve and gain the ever-present Christ-identity. When fear or limitation arises, I revise it by asserting that the end already exists in my present state, and I feel the truth: I am the I AM, and Christ is magnified through my actions, thoughts, and body.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling: I am the I AM, Christ is magnified in my body now. Hold that conviction until it feels real; then observe your day as the living expression of that truth.
