Numbers 8:24-25 lays down a schedule for the Levites: begin active service at 25, retire at 50. Read as you will, this is not a calendar but a map of consciousness. The Levite is your inner minister—your faculty of attention and devotion—called to stand at the tabernacle of the congregation, the place where mind meets its own made-up world. From 25 onward you occupy yourself with service: you attend to the inner sanctuary, you train the senses, you practice true worship by aligning thought and feeling with the divine I AM. At 50 you cease the external administration, not because you fail, but because the nature of service shifts to quieter, steadier leadership, teaching by example rather than exertion. If you feel drawn to change or doubt your path, accept that these thresholds reflect inner seasons of awareness. The essential truth: your life is not ruled by age, but by alignment—by waking to the reality that you are the I AM, and your every act is service.
