Biblical Context
Numbers 6:22-27 records the command for Aaron to bless Israel with protection, grace, divine presence, and peace. The blessing reveals an inner disposition available to all, by living in alignment with God’s name within.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the Neville Goddard cadence, the Lord bless thee and keep thee is not a distant act performed by a man above but a state you awaken within your own consciousness. The blessing’s language of protection, of a face that shines, of gracious countenance, and of peace is the invitation to dwell in a single, stable awareness. The phrase, The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, speaks of turning your inward gaze toward the awareness that you are seen—seen by I AM—and thus held in grace. When the text adds, and they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, it signals that you identify with the living Name within: I AM, your true self. The only work is to assume that this Name is your own, that this blessing is already true now, and to feel it until it becomes your felt reality. So, meditate on the idea that you are the bearer of that divine favor, not waiting for an external event but redefining your inner weather until Peace, Grace, and Presence become your habitual atmosphere.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume, I am blessed and kept. See a warm light of grace shining on your face and rest in the felt sense of perfect peace.
