Biblical Context
God commands Moses to have Aaron and his sons bless the children of Israel. This blessing is a formal act by the priesthood signaling covenant loyalty and true worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Numbers 6:22-23 as an inner directive from your I AM to your own consciousness. When the Lord spoke to Moses, it is your awareness speaking to itself, and Aaron and his sons are the higher faculties you enlist—the disciplined thoughts you align with the truth of being. The command, On this wise ye shall bless, becomes a practical method for a mind at rest in its own birth. To bless the children of Israel is to bless your own inner people—the wishes, habits, and impressions that constitute your world. By choosing a noble blessing, you elevate the atmosphere of your mind; you covenant with loyalty to true worship, which is simply waking to who you are and living from that state. This is not petitioning an outside God, but issuing a decree from the I AM that you are. Persist in that feeling, and the outer conditions begin to adjust to the mood you have already assumed.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit in quiet, assume the stance of the speaker—declare, 'I am blessed and kept by the I AM.' Feel the truth of that blessing saturate your thoughts until your outer world reflects a state of protection and grace.
