Inner Inheritance and Jubilee

Numbers 36:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Numbers 36 in context

Scripture Focus

4And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
Numbers 36:4

Biblical Context

At Jubilee, what you inherit moves to the tribe you now belong to, taking it away from the tribe of your fathers.

Neville's Inner Vision

Numbers 36:4 speaks as Neville would hear: the inheritance is not fixed in fleshly lines but moves with the inner state you receive. When the Jubilee arrives in your life, the wealth and promises allotted to you detach from the old tribe of your birth and attach to the tribe you consciously assume as your own. The law here is a law of consciousness: you cannot hold a state of wealth while your heart remains fixed in lack; you must alter the 'tribe' you belong to by imagining yourself as the kind of being who already possesses. The 'inheritance' you cling to is not mere property but the feeling of sufficiency, security, and blessing. The transfer occurs when you accept a new self—one now received by the tribe that aligns with abundance—and the old identity's holdings fade into memory. In this way, righteousness and provision become natural expressions of inner loyalty to a higher covenant with I AM, rather than external rule.

Practice This Now

In a moment of stillness, assume you already belong to the abundant tribe. Revise your sense of inheritance by declaring, 'My wealth now resides in the tribe I receive,' and dwell in that feeling until it feels real.
