Dividing the Inner Land
Numbers 34:16-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God instructs Moses to appoint Eleazar the priest and Joshua to divide the land, with one prince from each tribe to oversee inheritance.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the symbolic ledger of Numbers, the division of the land is a revelation of your inner kingdom. The LORD speaks to Moses, and Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun stand as eternal facets of consciousness to be set in order. Eleazar embodies the law and priestly discernment; Joshua embodies fearless, faithful action. The command to take one prince from every tribe is a call to assign every quality of your mind a rightful throne, so that the whole consciousness may be governed rather than scattered. The inheritance is not a map on parchment, but the guaranteed outcome of your inner loyalty to the covenant I AM. When you listen for the I AM within and name these faculties, you establish a hierarchy that properly distributes power, memory, courage, compassion, and order. In this inward settlement, the kingdom of God arises as your awareness takes up residence in the right places, with each tribe knowing its inheritance. Thus the external world becomes the outward sign of an inward concord, a life governed by the divine arrangement of your own mind.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the I AM speaking within. Appoint a prince from each inner tribe (Faith, Courage, Love, Wisdom, Peace) to govern your inner land, and feel the inheritance already yours as you assume it.
