Biblical Context
A wife’s vow binds her, but only through her husband’s hearing and judgment; if he does not object, the vow stands; if he disallows it on hearing, the vow is void, and forgiveness follows.
Neville's Inner Vision
Numbers 30:6-8 encodes an inner law: the husband is the image of your I AM—the steadfast awareness that either approves or disallows a movement of your soul. When you utter a vow, you deposit energy into a state; if your inner I AM holds silence with you, the vow remains intact, and your life follows the implied energy. If the inner governor disallows it, that vow is canceled, and forgiveness comes as the recognition that no aspect of you can be truly bound without the I AM’s consent. The outer form echoes the inner movement: reality follows the state you entertain in consciousness. Your task is to assume the completed act in the I AM, revise any misaligned intent, and feel the truth of it as real. Imagination creates reality; therefore, the practice is to assume, feel, and maintain the alignment, so the vow stands and your life blooms in harmony with your highest state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, rest in I AM, and assume your chosen vow already real; if your inner sense resists, revise the vow immediately and forgive, returning to the I AM state.
