When it says, take the heads of the people and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, it is speaking of bringing your ruling thoughts into the daylight of consciousness, exposing the dream-helpers that keep you in bondage to illusion. The fierce anger of the LORD is your life-force when misdirected; it becomes fierce because you have mistaken a shadow for reality. By commanding the judges to slay those joined to Baalpeor, the inner voice is instructing you to release the attachments to counterfeit gods—desires, beliefs, identifications—that claim authority over you.
